I was looking at your website and it asked for pictures or stories from your lodges past. From 1984 to 1991 I owned a mobile DJ company "Smooth Moves DJ's" and we would play your lodge quite frequently. I believe in 1987 or 88 we played your lodge for your St. Patrick's party. While we were playing your party, Clarkston had one of the biggest ice storms hit of all time, After the gig it took us 20 min to beat the ice off of the van so we could load out. I remember getting home early that morning, pulling in the drive, cold, sweaty and reeking of smoke, walking in the front door looking forward to a hot shower and bed......and.....as I closed the door behind me.......THE POWER WENT OUT......and stayed out for like 2 weeks!!! I relocated to FL in 1991 and I'm still in the music biz today under a different name (All The Gold Entertainment) Each year I play 3 or 4 St. Patties parties and I ALWAYS remember "THAT" night at the Clarkston Eagles.
